Case Study Drip Marketing

Introduction   Drip is an Integrated Creative Agency based in Vancouver that helps brave brands become remarkable. From strategy, digital and creative to marketing and production. They are all on one roof.   Overview   The Focus   My main focus of Drip is to know more about the user and make it a very prominent platform. For that, I started to research and find the competitors and compare them with Drip. The reason that I choose this platform is because it is related to my work. And the main reason for me choosing to work on this project is to revamp and modernize the website. The goals for this redesign are to
  • Improved typography and navigation bar of the website.

  • Make it more user-friendly and accessible to all users

  • Update the visuals and experience through competitive analysis

  • Fasting loading elements (animation and video vs. Pics of landing page which doesn’t position well on the website)

  • A more direct approach for the reader to read and get information from the website.

  • Improve Information architecture
Target Audience The primary audience are people who have companies in this industry. Secondary audiences are people who are studying and working in this industry and also third-party organizations.   Role & Responsibilities

My role in this was as the main designer, to create something new that could increase the usage of the website. Because of that, I started to do research into direct competitor agencies, then came up with a new idea. Then I created wireframes to showcase blueprints and mock-ups of what the end product would look like. I also took inspiration from Behance and other various websites which have many artists who created their iteration of what a new platform would look like.

After analyzing the website and competitors, there were some unique discrepancies that propelled the other companies forward. This difference makes me realize that the website needs some improvement. Firstly, the layout of the website needs to be changed. Second, the navbar of the website needs to be improved. There are not many nav pages on the website, which is very confusing to access the information on the website. Third, there is not much content on the homepage of the website and also the content on the website needs to be improved. Fourth, there are not many pictures and video of the company in which users can not trust the company which doesn’t have much information on the site. Fifth, the website needs to be updated. I attempted to integrate these improvements into the Drip website and even came out with a new idea which makes it very unique, eye-catching and easy to read and see. Most important is to make a user-friendly website. The Outcome & Final Product   Overall, the original Drip was functional in terms of simply accessing users. I wanted to increase their use by adding more pages on the navigation bar and also replacing animation and video with pics which did not position well on the website and, most importantly, updating the content of the website. With some assistance from other designers, I practiced and utilized a more effective grid system in order to space elements out more evenly. Overall, as a user, they are able to get information from the website.
